Precautions & Tips to be kept in mind

  • Do not wear very constrictive clothing while practicing the exercises

  • Avoid practicing exercises immediately after having a heavy meal.

  • Do not strain yourself to do any of the exercises if you feel excessive pain during the movements.

  • If you have any specific medical condition, please consult your doctor before you start the office yoga regime.

  • Do not hold your breath while stretching. Breathe deeply in slow rhythm with your movement.

  • Loosen your waist belts and take off your spectacles before beginning the exercises.

SHOULDER ROTATION

 

Benefits - This exercise helps to loosen the stiffness in the shoulders, and prevents shoulder pain, and conditions like frozen shoulder.

 

Instructions

  • Bend your arms and touch the shoulders with your finger tips (as shown below in Image 1)

  • Now rotate your arms in clockwise and anti clockwise directions.

  • Repeat 5 times in each direction
