MEDITATION SESSION FOR A STRESS FREE LIFE

Meditation is a technique of relaxing the mind, focusing attention and fulfilling a purpose or goal. Meditation is a journey deeper into your true self. The goal of meditation is to understand the boundaries we have set for ourselves in our conscious and sub-conscious states of mind. Meditation helps to reduce stress, and develops a sense of inner peace, joy, and strength. Scientific tests have shown that meditation can lower your blood pressure, improve your memory and creativity, and strengthen your immune system.

The following is the breakup of the One-hour session on meditation:

  • Introductory talk about meditation: 10 mins

  • Simple asanas and stretching exercises (10 mins)

  • Perception of breath (10 mins)

  • Meditation on psychic centers (15 mins)

  • Yoga nidra (A deep form of meditation with perception of body parts) (15 mins)
